The TOP 4 Winners

We are delighted to introduce the four winners of the ESA Start-up competition!
They have passed through all rounds of evaluation and were chosen out of 101 applicants.

Cosmic Srl

Cosmic was born in 2018 with the idea to innovate the water loss research system with something that was a "disruptive technology" and not a simple improvement of existing techniques.

The five founders came together over a common mission to apply data-based science and tech to tackling an invisible but urgent, global problem – they created a global air quality management platform, driven by satellite data, IoT, AI and machine learning technology.

ConstellR

To conserve our resources, protect the environment, and safeguard humankind’s food security, ConstellR will install a system in space, which can monitor our crop’s health: globally, daily, and on the level of a single field.

Orbital EOS

After working in aerial remote sensing of oil pollution in their country, the team decided to embrace new technologies and fly higher. EOS Viewer is the first commercial platform providing oil pollution insights based on Radar & Optical data + AI.

To learn more about our four winners, join the opening session of the virtual ESA Industry Space Days on Wednesday 16 September 2020, where they will introduce themselves and will be available for virtual appointments with industry and space agency representatives.
In addition, ESA invites the winners to present their companies at the Global Space Congress to be held in Abu Dhabi in May 2021, so stay tuned for this event as well!
